The Adventure Zone: Vol. 1 - Here There Be Gerblins and The Adventure Zone: Vol. 2 - Murder on the Rockport Limited! are comic adaptations of the first two adventures in the hilarious D&D podcast The Adventure Zone by the McElroy brothers and their dad, Clint.
It is a bit out of character for me to read comics not about superhero archers or samurai — especially a certain leporine ronin1 — but I devoured both volumes of The Adventure Zone in just a couple of days.
The podcast is really great and, likewise, the comics are too. The artist, Carey Pietsch, absolutely knocks it out of the park. I highly recommend both books and the third one, Petals to the Metal, is available for preorder now.
